I ordered a pair of these struts and rear shocks for my '04' MALIBU. The staff at CARiD guided me thru the different brands and reasons for purchasing them. Deciding on OEM replacements I purchased complete units. Installation was easy. Remove bolts, uninstall old and install the new. Recycling the old was easy and appreciated. The most impressive thing about CARiD is their customer service. Due to my ignorance I ordered the wrong units. Realizing my mistake the staff worked with me to get the proper equipment. Leave it to G.M. to make two styles for the same vehicle. I returned the wrong ones and got the new ones in three days. No muss, no fuss and complete satisfaction with CARiD.
